try and get one when he’s asleep or lying down really still (probably not often) and get the camera right down to floor level, turn the flash off, set the shutter speed to about 1 second and make sure the camera is propped up against a book or something so it can’t wobble. Those shots are often nice and warm and cozy looking.
But that’s some impressive paws he’s got there.
Thanks for the tips Gooders. As can be obviously seen, these pics were all taken at night, hence the annoying flash-effect on his coat.
I haven’t really attempted a proper photo session with him yet, plus I’m still figuring out the intricacies of my new camera, but will try to get some better ones done over the next couple of days.
In the second picture he’s trying to jump up and grab my glass of wine.
