Mark and I have been sorely lacking in the updates department of late. Apparently it takes a million years to schedule an appointment for broadband installation. I guess in that regard merry old En-ger-land is much like the Motherland.
At any rate, we received a CD with our wedding photos back and despite our mutual unphotogenicness (that’s a new word, I’m sure) they turned out pretty well.
Here’s a selection. We’ll post more once Sky get around to paying us a visit!

Just received this in an e-mail today. It’s worth a minute but you’ll need a calculator unless you’re some kind of crazy mathematical genius.
How do they figure these things out???
“YOUR AGE IN CHOCOLATE”
DO NOT GO STRAIGHT TO THE END …
Do the maths as you read the instructions
Don’t read the end until you have done all the calculations
1. How many times a week do you fancy eating chocolate?
(Choose between 1 and 9)
2. Multiply that number by 2
3. Add 5
4. Multiply by 50 – go on, get that calculator out!
5. If you have had your birthday in 2006, add 1756. If your birthday is still to come, add 1755.
6 Now take away the year you were born.
You should have a three digit number. The first is the number of time you fancy eating chocolate in a week.
The other two digits are …
PS – in an extraordinarily eerie coincidence, right after I wrote the title for this post, the “Superfreak” music video started playing on the TV… I’m scared now.

…and legally wed!
Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes for our big day. It was fab, despite a sudden downpour, and the day passed by in a bit of a blur for us both! We should be receiving the official pics early next week so that should shed some light on the day’s events. After all that hassle describing my vision for pew ends to the florist, I didn’t even notice them. Oh well. As long as we don’t look too horrendous, we will post a selection of wedding photos… watch this space…
Mark took tons of great photos in Italy which we will also get to posting as soon as, along with an account of our travels. The honeymoon was amazing – a great mix of sight seeing, eating delicious food and SHOPPING (Mark’s concession to his bride xx).
In other Jones news, we’ve now moved into our new place on Springfield Lane. Boxes are everywhere but the cats have settled in nicely and are content climbing on many new and interesting surfaces. We’re hopeful that the stairs will provide some good exercise for Joey, who now weighs in at approximately 18 pounds. Bless.
More to follow. This was just meant to be a quick post to say that we’re still alive and we’re home, but as usual I find myself rambling.
